"arrive as a guest, leave as a friend"

Growing up on a farm in the North of Namibia,

I spent most of my days outside tending to animals and learning to read the signs of nature which ultimately developed a deep love for the natural world, the animals, people and landscapes of Namibia.

While working my family’s Guesthouse after leaving school, I started joining Duncan Gilchrist, game ranger and conservationist as an apprentice guide on camping safaris around Kaoko & Damara land and has since been guiding clients from all over the world for more than 20 Years.

Guiding has been my lifelong path and the Namibian bush has been my office, home and church for more than 20 Years.

I believe that living and breathing this passion for so long has made me a good ambassador for tourism in this country and it brings me great pleasure to have the opportunity, knowledge and skills, to share this with international guests.

I am a passionate wildlife & a nature lover.

I hold a positive outlook on life and enjoy working with people, entertaining and having good conversations about life and everything involved around it.

The most satisfaction about what I do, is sharing the beauty of my country with tourists and locals alike, learning and interacting with the natural world around me, having respect for its creation and believing in the wonders it holds.
